2007 Atomic SX 12pb: This ski is designed for technicially, aggressive power skiers that drool at high speeds. This highly stable ski will turn fairly easily and has extremely strong edge grip. It also has a strong preference for medium to long radius turns and is very stiff. Best for those who love ripping it on the gromers.

2007 Atomic SX 10 B5 Connected: This is the slightly less aggressive, more forgiving brother of the SX 12pb. However, still maintains much of the stability at speed, has phenominal edge grip and is easier to ski because it is less stiff. As its brother, it has a strong preference for medium to long radius turns and is best for those who love ripping it on the gromers.

2007 Dynastar Contact 11: "Smooth" is the common word to describe this ski. Larger at the waist than last year, this ski has versatility and skis a variety of turn radii. It also rips in the bumps and trees and loves medium to high speed arcs on the groomers. Many have given it rave reviews even aspiring experts.

2007 Fischer RX 8: This is an extremely stable ski with phenomenal edge grip (eastern skiers take note) and medium stiffness. It is an excellent carving ski with effortless short to medium radius turns and doesn't mind sliding off piste occasionally.

2007 Fischer RX 9: This ski is an extremely stable carver in medium to long radius turns (even in medium quantity snow). It also has strong edge grip (eastern skiers take note) and feel free to take it off piste. It has won many awards is past years.

2007 Head Fast Thang SL: This women specific ski is drawing rave reviews. It is very stable, turny, has excellent edge grip and can handle a variety of turn radi. With light to medium stiffness it can also slide through the moguls and won't mind going off piste at times in soft snow.

2007 Volkl Supersport Allstar Titanium: This stable ski has has some testers raving and others feeling not so much. If you are a Volkl fan, definitely take this ski for a test drive. It is good in a variety of turn radii and is best on the groomers but can slide off piste as well. It also has strong edge grip.
