Reverence, The Kent Kreitler Story. This is an excellent documentary of the skiing career of an outstanding freeskiing pioneer and icon, Kent Kreitler. This is arguably the best compilation of big mountain skiing ever caught on film. Made by Teton Gravity Research in association with Matchstick Productions.
Matchstick Productions is another leader in extreme sports films. With over 22 feature length films under their belt, they continue to capture some of the sickest freestyle backcountry skiing and terrain park tricks of modern day legends. The Hit List (2005) and Yearbook (2004) are their most recent really great films.
There are three excellent books to guide you in improving your skiing. For experts and advanced skiers, the best resources are The Skier's Edge by Ron Lemaster and All-Mountain Skier: The Way to Expert Skiing by R. Mark Elling.
